  “You have cancer” is not easy to hear. I certainly wasn’t expecting it just barely a month after my 36th birthday. The mental, emotional, and physical struggles following this type of diagnosis are impossible to explain. The Atrium Foundation is a blessing for those of us who are in the midst of that battle. Most people don’t think about the challenge of trying to balance a family and finances as part of your diagnosis. Having the support from the amazing team at the Atrium Foundation and its donors has alleviated some of that extra stress placed on me and my family. I am forever grateful to be able to have the financial support that’s has allowed me to focus more on my health journey.
