BENEFICIARIES OF 2021

"Being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer brought along many challenges —-physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially.
The Atrium Foundation has been there to provide resources and support that have made my challenges more bearable. They immediately welcomed me and wanted to know about me and how they could help make things a bit easier. I am eternally grateful!"

- Rochelle Mincic

" I have been fighting metastatic breast cancer for two years now, and if I am being completely honest, it is getting harder to fight with the financial hardships that come along with it. Being unemployed and a single mother, I had no way of paying for food and rent, and the guardian angels at The Atrium Foundation stepped right in and supported me in my time of need. I am blessed, grateful, and thankful. "

- Tornora Carroll

"My 2-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. I was fired from work because I needed to care for my daughter. We are juggling medical bills, travel expenses to get her treatment, and providing a good meal for my kids. It’s hard to ask for help, but the founder of The Atrium Foundation messaged me and offered our family support.

They personally reached out to me and talked to us. I felt genuine care and the feeling that we were not alone in this fight.

I’m very grateful The Atrium Foundation helped us. "

- Abigail & Ellie Aquino

"I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 34. It was a shock to myself and my family. It made it especially difficult having an 18-month-old.

I am grateful to have caught it early and to have found The Atrium Foundation. Being an AYA cancer patient can be alienating at times but I have

felt a sense of community instantly here with The Atrium Foundation and am thankful for their help."

- Lauren Tarpley

"Finding the Atrium Foundation and receiving help from them is a blessing beyond words. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at my OBGYN's office. I was 11 weeks pregnant, and I already had an 18-month-old son when I found out I had this aggressive cancer.

Because of cancer, I lost my baby and so much else. It wasn't easy to get by physically, emotionally, and financially. The Atrium Foundation has helped us make ends meet at this time, and they have taken so much time and energy to connect and help me and my family feel supported personally."

- Diana Mock

"Thank you The Atrium Foundation for the support, your kind words, and in helping us financially. It’s getting close to the holidays and these are always the toughest for us. We will be able to have some money saved up to buy Katy and her siblings a small gift for Christmas. We will also be able to pay for some of our credit card bills, which is going to help us immensely. We appreciate you and we are blessed to have found each other."

- Cecilia Berumen
